MPA has this project with Kloth Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian social enterprise who aspires to become the lead for textile circular economy with measurable social, economic and environmental impact.  In 2019, Kloth Malaysia was awarded the Social Enterprise Accreditation (SE.A) status by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) for the positive impacts it has contributed to the environment.

Kloth Cares Fabric Recycling Movement and Woman Up Movement by Kloth Cares are sustainable brands established by Kloth Malaysia which are in line with its sustainability commitment pillars, “Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle” as well as economic empowerment for women.

On July 1, 2020 Kloth Malaysia Sdn Bhd established Woman Up in aspiration to facilitate women from the impoverished and marginalized communities towards economic empowerment and improved livelihoods through creative sewing.

Kloth Cares is in partnership with Suri Lifestyle, Kolej Komuniti Sabak Bernam and other social enterprises, NGOs and institutions help to scout and train women to sew fabric masks and other wearable products made from various types of sustainable textiles including fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles (rPET), face masks (made of denim and organic cotton fabric,  water repellent and cotton face fabric) and other donated fabrics and even customize the masks based on customers’ requirements.
